Shocking customer service bought a Hoover less than a week ago used it 3 times completely stopped working. Have told me they can’t replace and I need re-order I will be out of pocket £360 and the way they have dealt with this I doubt I will get the money back any time soon, so I am not risking it. I don’t understand why they can’t pick up faulty and replace with a WORKING hoover which is all I want. I have completely lost faith in this brand and company and certainly won’t be recommending to anyone. Was going to purchase the new carpet cleaner but will go to Bissell instead now and purchase a Shark or Dyson. Main reason I ordered directly from vax was due to customer service reviews. BIG MISTAKE should of gone Argos or Currys at least it would of been dealt with there and then and they would not expect me to shell out another £170.I feel I must add the day after I bought the item it went down £50 and they did honour this and refund the difference, (stil not received as of yet, but they have sent confirmation it has been done) but I still can’t condone such bad customer service with regards to the faulty machine.

Rubbish customer service!!!... I wanted to buy a new carpet washer but both models I was interested in came with free steamers as I already have a Vax steamer plus their hard floor cleaner I didn’t need another and asked if they could do a deal instead.... was told there was no way and I could give the steamer away... I was looking to replace my previous Vax carpet washer as it had reached the end of its life....so having 3 Vax products to me means loyalty and their refusal to offer another deal is disgusting customer service!!!!.... I’m now looking for an alternative carpet washer and won’t be giving Vax any future business!!!!!!

Rubbish customer service!!!... I wanted to buy a new carpet washer but both models I was interested in came with free steamers as I already have a Vax steamer plus their hard floor cleaner I didn’t need another and asked if they could do a deal instead.... was told there was no way and I could give the steamer away... I was looking to replace my previous Vax carpet washer as it had reached the end of its life....so having 3 Vax products to me means loyalty and their refusal to offer another deal is disgusting customer service!!!!.... I’m now looking for an alternative carpet washer and won’t be giving Vax any future business!!!!!!

Just used the online chat, I spoke to Heather who within minutes sorted the issue and has got a part being sent out to me. Excellent service.

Lack of Customer Service

After sending me a faulty machine, they made it next to impossible to get it back to them. Their customer service team are so unhelpful and just palm you off when they can’t help.

My carpet cleaner suffered a malfunction.

My carpet cleaner suffered a malfunction, sent email and was told my 6 year guarantee didn't cover the defective part. I complained and Sarah from Customer Services phoned me at home. Sarah was polite, professional, confident and reassuring, she found the fault in seconds, arranged a pick up for my machine, completed a refund for the part I had purchased in the meantime. Like a whirlwind! Problem solved, breath of fresh air, happy customer. Pity all in her profession, aren't as proficient.Well done Sarah and thanks again..John Hall.

Amazing customer service

Had issues ordering parts for my vax and spoke to a member of customer service called Heather, she was very helpful and had sorted me out in less than 10 mins!!

The Vax blade has been a very poor…

The Vax blade has been a very poor vacuum for us. We were never impressed with the suction power and the dust capacity was very very small (although this is commonplace with this style of hoover). From first use it didn't pick up cereal, rice, crisp but I reconciled myself with using it mainly on the stairs and wooden floors for dusting. We retained our upright hoover, I can't imagine any family home managing with this as their only vacuum. In addition to this lack of performance the flexi hose at the head split further detracting from its performance. After several emails they agreed to send a replacement head foc. This has barely been used and again the hose has split in the same area and, get this, the battery is flashing red and dead as a dodo! It's March and it was last used to hoover up after Christmas, there's still glitter in there! This is an 'extra' hoover in a household with an upright and a Henry in the garage for the cars so avoid unless you want to be disappointed. I'm going to treat myself to a new upright and put this one on gumtree for free spare or repair. Avoid

Poor vax, good customer service

I ordered a Vax onepwr cordless. It won't go over my rugs, just stops even with the carpet beater brush off!However, I did an online chat with LucyBeth and she sorted out a return collection there and then with a full refund to follow, so although the vacuum was a disappointment, the customer service wasn't!

Just had a problem with my steam cleaner after nearly a year of use. Spoke to Jonathan on the chat and dealt with very easily. New one on its way. Delighted with service and products are great

I purchased a vax dualpower pet…

I purchased a vax dualpower pet advanced carpet washer I've have had nothing but trouble with it I had to replace the belt within the first 7months and from then the belts only been lasting me a few weeks and then snapping. It also won't suck up the water properly and now I can't use it because the belt has melted on the roller and now the roller will not go round just keeps snapping the belts.

VAX Blade 4 cordless Vacuum - a warning

I am a very fit 72 year old and when my GTECH upright came to the end of its life I bought this and have made a terrible, expensive mistake and this is to warn other people who at the moment can't hold and test out the VAX in a shop.It is so heavy that after a very short time my shoulder, arm, wrist and thumb are very sore. Pushing this is HARD WORK and I can't see how I could use it to vacuum the whole house. Using the tool to do cobwebs I had to use 2 hands, 1 to hold the machine and 1 to steady it, and goodness what a hard job. The handle is suitable only for a LARGE hand - the inside of my thumb on the arch became sore almost immediately. Also the main problem is that it doesn't stand up by itself. So if you want to move a chair or straighten a rug with 2 hands you have to find somewhere to lean it against and then, because it's top-heavy, it slides down and crashes to the floor. The suction is no better or worse than any other machine, but the head is smaller so it takes longer and the manoevrability of the head is poor. Emptying the container is awful - the dirt gets stuck round the sides and shaking the container sends the dust everywhere and the container gets covered and the outside needs cleaning - another job. I ended up putting my finger inside to dislodge the dirt !The machine is going back in its box and I will save up for something else.

Poor after sales service

I bought a Vax Platinum Powermax carpet shampooer in December and found that it doesn’t pick up the dirty water. I tried three times to co ta t them via their chat line and each time after constantly repeating g my details they cut me off. I tried to ring twice and gave up after waiting in a queue for 15 mins. I emailed and did get someone to ring me but it wasn’t convenient to speak to them. We have had a lust of checks emailed to us some of which are difficult to understand but to no avail. I have therefore emailed again and received no response. I will therefore have to try ringing again but this after sales service is very poor and not acceptable. Don’t think I’d buy a Vax again.
